Practice Rooms in Passau

At the start of each semester, we reassign our rehearsal rooms. A larger practice room is available for bands, and a smaller one for individual musicians.

Photography studio users should contact the Culture Office Passau.

Music Practice Room I (Room 255)
Located on the 1st floor above the cafeteria.
The practice room is 18.88 m² and is equipped with a piano and a drum set.

Music Practice Room II (Room 256)
Located on the 1st floor above the cafeteria.
The practice room is 23.69 m² and is equipped with a piano, a drum set, and an electric guitar amp. There is also a small PA system available for bands to use. Vocal microphones are also available.

Rehearsal Room in the Donau Schwaben Straße residential complex
The rehearsal room is located in Building 14 of the Donau-Schwaben-Straße residence hall complex.Residents of the residence hall can rent the rehearsal room free of charge.The practice room is approximately 8 m² and is equipped with a stage piano.

Photo Studio (Room 252)
Located on the 1st floor above the cafeteria!
The photo studio is 28.00 m² and open to everyone who has already completed the "Introduction to the Photo Studio" workshop.

KulturSalon
The KulturSalon provides a large exhibition and event space for student cultural initiatives at the University of Passau. The KulturSalon is located at Dr. Hans Kapfinger Straße 30, diagonally opposite the former Metropolis cinema.

Space Options
The KulturSalon consists of two rooms. The front room offers space for theater and dance rehearsals, a practical hanging system for photographs and paintings, and a lot of space for additional exhibits. The back room is equipped with a dance floor.

Reservations & Contact
The KulturSalon can be rented by student groups for one-off or regular events. All theater and cultural groups who would like to use the KulturSalon regularly are invited to the cultural assembly during the first week of lectures.
