The Mensa at Hochschule Landshut at a glance
The Mensa of the Studentenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz in Landshut forms the "entrance gate" to the university campus. Two terraces make it possible to sit outside. Numerous seating areas are equipped with electricity. The Mensa contains freely accessible coffee machines as well as food and beverage vending machines. An "action counter" offers the opportunity to switch between induction woks and griddles and prepare food in front of guests. The kitchen team prepares crispy pizza fresh in the pizza oven directly at the serving counter.

In the Mensa at Hochschule Landshut we offer coffee specialities such as latte macchiato, cappuccino, chociatto or hot chocolate with oat drink. Please check the information on the machines.
Note: Unfortunately, the chocolate powder for the hot chocolate is with milk powder. This means for the Chociatto and the hot chocolate that these - even with oat drink - are not vegan!

The Mensa is located street-side next to the former location between the parking lots and a pond that contributes to a pleasant dining atmosphere.

Special features
You cannot pay cash at the cash registers in the cafeterias and Mensas. You can use a variety of cashless payment methods, including debit/credit cards or NFC-enabled smartphones. With these payment methods, no prior loading of the Mensa card or student ID is necessary. However, please also place your Mensa card or student ID on the checkout terminals to receive a discounted rate in the Mensa.
Children of students receive until the age of six a free child's plate if the mother or father also eats lunch in the Mensa. By presenting their own student ID, student parents will receive the "Kindermensakarte", which is required to receive the free children's plate.
