The Mensa at Universität Passau at a glance
The Mensa has space for 650 guests. It differs from other large kitchens primarily in that no standardized menu is offered: Each guest can put together his or her own menu at the serving line. The kitchen offers a changing range of meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes.

The Mensa is located adjacent to the building for economics - directly on the Inn River.

Special features
You cannot pay cash at the cash registers in the cafeterias and Mensas. You can use a variety of cashless payment methods, including debit/credit cards or NFC-enabled smartphones. With these payment methods, no prior loading of the Mensa card or student ID is necessary. However, please also place your Mensa card or student ID on the checkout terminals to receive a discounted rate in the Mensa.
Children of students receive until the age of six a free child's plate if the mother or father also eats lunch in the Mensa. By presenting their own student ID, student parents will receive the "Kindermensakarte", which is required to receive the free children's plate.
