There is no semester ticket agreement for students at TUM Campus Straubing.
Bavarian discount ticket and "Aufpreisticket" for students
In addition to the Deutschlandticket, the Freestate of Bavaria also offers a Bavarian discount ticket valid nationwide for € 43.00 per month (from January 2026) – available to all trainees, students, civil service candidates, and volunteers. There is no age limit for this ticket.
To obtain the discount ticket, you must provide confirmation from your university, place of employment, or the relevant authority. The form can be downloaded at https://bahnland-bayern.de/de/ermaessigungsticket.
The ticket is only available as a digital subscription and can be canceled on a monthly basis. For city bus transport in Straubing, the ticket is available via the Regensburg Verkehrsverbund app (RVV app). All information can be found here: https://www.rvv.de/bavarian-discount-ticket.
The discount ticket is not available at the Stadtwerke Straubing's transport office.
