Since 1st September 2017, the three new homes in the student residence complex in the Bürgermeister-Zeiler-Straße in Landshut are ready for occupancy.

In close proximity to the university in Landshut, the student union Lower Bavaria/Upper Palatinate built a new student residence complex with three new residential buildings in the Bürgermeister-Zeiler-Straße. As solid constructions, the new buildings are built with four floors and a flat roof.

In the new homes, there are all in all 209 dwelling places for students:

The 160 complete single apartments provide a private kitchenette as well as a private bathroom.

In 46 apartments (ten of these are rooms on the ground floor and are suitable for wheelchair users), which are divided in shared-living flats for two occupants, two tenants collectively use a kitchenette and a bathroom. The shared-living flats for two occupants also can be used as single-parent flats. A shared-living flat for three occupants, in which three tenants share a kitchen and a bathroom, complements the residential offer.

Common rooms

On the first and second floor in each of the three houses, there are common rooms with a large expanse of glass. With the help of the glass sliding elements, the rooms can be extensively opened. In addition, there is the possibility to meet collectively on the open joint terrace on the third floor.

Further information

It is possible to do the laundry with washing machines and dryers for collective use on the ground floor of every house.

For bicycles, there is a bicycle house. There are no parking spaces for cars.
